We're in Sotheby's!!! 🥷

What a week…

Pizza Ninjas are in Sotheby's!

I'm happy to share that Pizza Ninja #1 is part of a special Bitcoin Ordinals auction.

In one of the world's oldest and most respected auction houses: Sotheby's.

This moment serves as a strong validation of the Pizza Ninja's work in the emerging Web3 art market.

It signals that our work is of high enough quality and demand to be included in sales alongside other prestigious works.

Sotheby's auctions attract attention from collectors, galleries, museums, and the general public worldwide.

This exposure not only enhances a project's reputation and visibility, but associates it with a storied tradition and prestige, putting the work in a historical context.

Pizza Ninja #1, "The Angel" represents the grail art piece of the whole Pizza Ninjas collection.

It's a unique item not only for being the first in the collection, but also for representing the first –– and thus far only –– inscription on a Pizza Uncommon sat.

The now famous Bitcoin Pizza transaction took place in 2010 when Laszlo Hanyecz exchanged 10,000 Bitcoin for 2 Papa John’s pizzas.

It is the world’s first known use of BTC as a currency in exchange for real-world goods and celebrated annually as "Bitcoin Pizza Day" in the cryptocurrency industry.

While there are plenty of satoshis among the 10,000 BTC used in that transaction, only 201 were Uncommon Sats.

This means that Pizza Uncommons are orders of magnitude rarer than most rare sats.

THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION

Meaning, it will sell for as low as $1 if that is the highest bid.

Our team is grateful to be selected by Sotheby's for this honor.

And we will be forever envious of whoever wins this auction and secures the grail piece of the entire Pizza Ninjas collection!
